Summary

AfrikaBurn Companion stores all data locally on your device. No personal data is collected, transmitted, or shared with anyone.

Data Storage

All app preferences, camp pin locations, and cached data are stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to external servers. When you delete the app, all stored data is removed.

What We Do Not Collect

• No personal information (name, email, phone number)
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No crash reports sent to external services

Location Data

AfrikaBurn Companion may request access to your device location to show your position on the event map and enable geofence-based features. Location data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

Offline Operation

The app is designed to work without an internet connection. All event data (projects, maps, schedules) is bundled within the app. No network requests are made during normal use at the event.

Third-Party Services

AfrikaBurn Companion does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third-party services involved are the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for app distribution, governed by their respective privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

AfrikaBurn Companion does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
